Luxury car rental Madrid questions answered before you book
Straight answers on deposits, licence rules, mileage and Sierra de Guadarrama routes, so there are no surprises at pickup.
Before you book
Most buyers come to us with the same handful of questions: what a deposit involves, who can drive which car, how mileage is handled, and what a day in the Sierra de Guadarrama actually looks like. The answers below cover those points directly.
Where the exact figure depends on the vehicle, model and dates, we say so and point you to where it's confirmed. Nothing here is rounded up for effect or left vague to avoid giving a straight answer.
Questions before you book
Do supercars like Ferrari and Lamborghini have a higher age requirement?
Yes. Standard self-drive hire starts at 21 years old with at least 2 years' licence. Top supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren raise that to 25 years old with a minimum of 3 years' licence held, checked when the booking is confirmed.
Is a deposit required for supercar hire in Madrid?
Yes, a security deposit applies to every booking, and the amount is set per vehicle rather than a flat figure across the fleet. It's confirmed once the model and dates are fixed, and released after the car is returned and checked.
Is the daily mileage allowance the same for every car?
No. Each vehicle carries its own included mileage for the day, stated in the offer before you book. Kilometres driven beyond that limit are billed separately at a rate confirmed in the same offer.
Why isn't an exact rental price listed for each model?
Rates run from €500 to €5,000 a day depending on the car and the season, so a single published figure would mislead more than it helps. Send the model and dates you're considering and we return an exact quote within one business day.
Can you deliver the car to my hotel or Madrid-Barajas?
Delivery covers all terminals at Madrid-Barajas, hotels across the city, and addresses in Pozuelo, La Moraleja and Las Rozas. The delivery cost is quoted alongside the vehicle once the pickup point is confirmed.
Which Sierra de Guadarrama routes do you offer?
Current itineraries run through Navacerrada, Puerto de Cotos, the M-601, Rascafría and Puerto de la Morcuera. Each route is matched to the car and the time available, typically 4 to 8 hours.
Can I hire a car just for a scenic drive out to Hoyo de Manzanares and the Sierra?
Yes, a mountain-road day doesn't need a specific event or occasion behind it. Check the Sierra de Guadarrama driving tours page for the routes on offer and how a car and itinerary get matched to your day.
